So you can borrow my old one. I got a good buy on it and have it as a spare. I've had it for about six months and never had a good reason to put it in, now I do. Like I said, if the new one checks out I'll PM you.

Now let's not get ahead of ourselves. What if the new ICP is defective.

I would never take $$ for doing something like this. I will PM you tomorrow.

thanks alot for the ICP Robin...your a life saver..give me a chance to try this without buying one...

i did a test with AE with ICP un pluged..ICP duty cycle on a cool down motor was 18.75 and ICP was 725...pluged in DC of 14.84 and ICP of 841 at fire up then leveled off to 500 and bounced to 550 back and forth...i also did a WOT run in stock ...I sent it to Rich (white buffalo) to transform so I can post..when hit the limiter from 65 MPH the DC was 41.4 and ICP was 3041.48 when I hit the limiter dropped off a bit to .2620.64 ICP and DC was 36.33......I didn't get time to do the test in 80 E but I will tomorrow when my girlfriend can run the putter...

Hey Ron, what is the history on your injectors? Miles? Original O rings? Does the truck run smoother when cold?

I have a customer in New Jersey that had similar problems. Ended up being injector O rings.

In your case, I would swap the IPR first. Much easier.

Good Luck!

Same no's I get with ICP unplugged. Same DC I get plugged back up, but my ICP goes up and down between 475 and 480 (15 degree Hpop). I got these same readings on the old ICP sensor and the new one.

That 50 PSI bounce in your ICP might be the reason for your 50 RPM bounce at idle.

thanks for chiming in Joey..i have 189k on the truck...the Rotational Vel tests came back all under .05 and buzz test sounded the same across the board..truck run's smooth and strong no smoke...no ruff idle, no oil leaks...just a little longer crank on first start up and a 50 RPM bouce in the RPM's when truck is at temp's..if she cools for a 1/2 hour no bounce in RPM's.. if it were injector o-rings..wouldn't she skip some and blow a little smoke?? i love the pump...my truck never pulled so good...

thanks for chiming in Joey..the truck has 189k on what i believe is stock injectors and o-rings.. Rotational Vel came back with a .05 on all injectors and the buzz test sounded the same all the way across..the truck run's smooth and strong...no smoke,no skip and no oil leaks..just a little longer crank in the AM and the RPM'S only bounce when she is at temp..if she cools for 1/2 hour or so she fires right up and doesn't bounce..i have Jody's high idle..when i set that the RPM'S stay steady.no bounce... if it where o-ring wouldn't she skip and smoke?? you did a nice job on this pump..my truck pulls very nice...really woke her up..thanks a lot... what is the R IPR Joey?? would that give me any gains or should i just pick up a stock IPR?? Robin is kind enouph to send me his ICP to try out.if it doesnt change ill try the IPR...

well i tryed the ICP that Robin was kind enouph to send me and let me try with no luck... thanks to Clint i got the part# for the IPR rebuild kit here ipr o-ring kit F6TZ-9C977-AN or1825806C92 pictures from hobbies & interests photos on webshots

thanks to that link the rebuild kit was only $15.07 from IH rather then $170 for a new IPR to find out i gaind a little better throttle responce but still have the bouncing RPM's..i guess that leads me to injector orings...how can i tell witch injector..or at least witch side?? man.. if i got to go in there..i would rather drop in some SS 160cc's... you think the oring would last another month ?? i plan to park this thing come winter..snow will start flying by the end of this month..
the truck dont skip and i dont think its hurting on power..hard to tell though cause of the new HPOP...ill find out about the longer cranking in the AM..thank guy's..

It will make it, and may even clear up. I had Amiller come to my house one day about 2 years ago and run AE on my truck when I had a bouncing idle. everything checked fine, and a few weeks later it went away. Never figured out what it was, but it doesnt do it anymore.
