Gauge delay help...
I have a '04, F-150, 5.4 FX-4 model truck with 78k that I love except for several new problems. I'm looking for some tech help.
1. Gauges are delayed. When I start the truck, it now takes 3-5 seconds for the gauges to register. This is new within the last 2-3 k miles.
2. Starter seams to be going bad. Once or twice a week, the starter does not engage correctly. Slamming the drivers door seams to correct the problem. Do I need a new starter?
3. Rear Sonar quit working, is there a way to test each sensor? And how do you get those things off.
4. Finally, just had to have the tranny rebuilt. Not a problem now, but seams kinda odd at 78k. OD went out.
