Fuel tank drain

Is it possible to completely drain the tank from the water drain. Is there a way to get the check valve to stay open, how is that check operates?

just an idea, but what if you undo the hex screw that goes onto the first fuel filter housing and hook a hose up to that then turn the key on to get the fuel pump to turn on?

btw don't try this until someone here says its a bad idea as I'm sure someone will
