After fixing my camper water tank and filling it up, I decided to drain it by running the faucet. However, both of the double sinks filled up to overflowing (I wasn't paying attention). I checked and both drains were clear (Zip-It is a great tool). I finally opened up the gray water drain and the sinks finally drained. The plumbing vent under the sink was clear.
Is there another vent or problem to look for? One should be able to use the sink and not have to have the drain valve open.
There should be a vent under the sink - looks like this and usually right up against the counter top from my little experience with these gadgets. About $5-8
Did you try again without a full water tank? Maybe you were over full and blocked a vent. Just an idea because it's strange that both sinks would not drain at the same time.
the vent (like the photo) is clear and I can blow air through it. When both sinks were full, I unscrewed this vent and water poured out, so I screwed it back on and bailed out the sinks.
I cleared the sinks once (by opening the grey water drain valve), and then started running water from the about half full tank. Same result, sink filling up.
This may seem waaay out there but little critters make nests in the damndest places. I'd try and run a plumbers snake through the entire system if you could.

this is a really basic system. If you disconnect the trap can you pour water directly into the tank. Can't tell from your description if this is a mechanical or venting problem.
