Will a chip help throttle lagg??? Chippers in here please!!!

I have been wanting a chip since I bought my truck.
I want to remove the regen function, cat, and dpf.

My question is: Will a chip that does this, also remove that HORRIBLE lagg when I step on the throttle?
I'm getting 3 to 4 seconds of lagg before the truck moves out sometimes. It's getting dangerous. I try to pull out into traffic and the damn thing won't go.

Did SCT and all them fix this problem??

You might need a reflash. The 6.4s I've test driven have no lag to speak of.

There have been a couple of posts about this. I have a Job 3 built in May and it has terrible lag. Some say it gets better with mileage. I only have 1,600 miles and havent seen much improvement yet. I have noticed that if you roll in to the gas gently it isnt so bad but if you try to accelerate quickly to pull out in front of traffic it is REALLY bad. As you said DANGEROUS. Those with programmers claim it is eliminated. I dont think it is actual turbo lag. I think Ford has designed it this way to make acceleration smoother. Look at your boost gauge, it wont even flutter when you first hit the gas pedal.

With out the tuner you have to ease into it and you will get up to speed faster.

i am running the SCT and it help a great deal but once again half throttle is still better than full; and the truck is WAY more fun to drive
