The pumps will swap just fine. The 93 may have the turbo IP if it was a factory turbo'd truck but the pump will still work just fine.

im guessing their both a stanadyne DB2, it just has to be sent to a fuels shop and have it set for a n/a idi.

the DB2 was used on the diesels from 83 all the way to 94 on the idi's

and on the GM ( Detroit )6.2L and mechanical 6.5 and an electronic version of it for the electronic 6.5L

It will swap and run, however it will blow a lot of black smoke if it is a turbo truck, but there werent' many turbos in 93. It doesn't matter, just figure if your like me, you like to leave people in black smoke. I love to take off an leave a cloud behind me.

If it is off a turbo, Can't you just turn the fuel down a few flats while installing it?

Either way, It should work great like posted above. My 93 and most others I have seen were not turboed.

Just Incase your not familer with this swap, When removing the injection pumps, DO NOT REMOVE THE INJECTION PUMP GEAR HOUSING (where you put the oil in) You will throw the gear timing off and from what I hear, its a pain to retime it.
You can change it easly with out pulling the cover. Also, I would leave all the injection lines attached to the pump. You don't need to remove all those lines when removing it. Just undo the lines at each injector. If you have to take a coupple lines off to get the center fuel supply line undone, ok but I wouldn't take them all off. When you get them mixed up it sure is fun getting them back they way they went. Makes for a very quick swap as well. If you have any removel questions, just ask.

Otherwise, If your familer with it, have at it!!! No reason it shouldn't work out for you.

that all depends on how many flats it was turned up... unless its written or stamped into the IP case a person would have no way of knowing unless they like adjusting the screw, draining the pump of fuel adjusting the screw again bleeding the system, and repeating the process untill its just right

A 93 NA would or should have a DB2- 5013 or DB2-5028 with E injectors depending on the transmission.

A 93 or 94 7.3 turbo would or should have a DB2-5069 or DB2-5070 with G injectors depending on the transmission.

Tell me which number it has, we can go from there.
