Heres a picture of my "dumb" dog. Seems like she got a little bored yesterday and ate a bunch of fabric of some sort. The funny thing is, I have no idea where she got it from! She was eating a ton of grass and puking, then out came some fabric.
preppypyro, she is sooooooo cute, how old is she by the way, if she is eating the grass then she had a upset stomach for sure lol, she has the face that you fall in love with right away.
My buddy had a lab like yours and it love to eat tube socks and dish towels. I remember several times that poor dog trying to pop out a glob of fabric....all you would hear a god awful howl and him dragging his butt across the lawn. Funny as hell when you see it, but that dog never learned his lesson and would munch on anything made out of cotton in sight.
She is a beauty Sheldon. They do some stupid things, but they do grow some brains eventually. Like in about 2 years. They are great to have around though
Mine pictured below will be 8 months on Aug 30. She is retarded I sometimes think. So far 2 suitcases, camera bag, numerous shoes. We have a pile of sticks at the back door. She has decided she likes apples, guess what we also have in the backyard, so now along with the pile of sticks we have enough apples for some pies.
Littlesunray, she is 3 months plus a few days old. She does get away with more then she should.
Xtr thats a pretty funny story! Luckily my dog didnt do any of that, just gagged and threw up alot. Kinda scared me, but then I googled the problem, seen the fabric, and wasnt so worried.
Chris your dog is super cute! My pup has a fondness for eating garden peas (only if fed to her by hand) and has one hole she has dug, that she hides her toys, and my work gloves!
Anytime Michelle, I love my little pup and have a billion pictures of her. Since im pretty bored these days, Ill probably post some more from time to time.
Preppypyro, I have 2 dogs one is a blue heeler and the other heinz 57 but love both. The blue heeler is a girl and acts like one also. The heinz 57 is a boy and he love food and loves to howl at the moon and the coyotes. But I would not trade them for anything in the world.
A couple of gorgeous pups there!!! My Chow Chow is also fond of grass...never throws it up. The vet told me it's quite normal for them to eat grass...not necessarily because of an upset stomach.
Mine loves the veggies as well. Cucumber and carrots seem to be her favorites. She does like her grass as well. If it moves it's good if it doesn't sometimes that's even better. She has also caught a couple mice out behind the shed.
My neighbor up in Michigan has Trout ponds,,where you can go and catch trout. Well,,one day a good friend stops by and asks me,,can you take us to the trout pond,we would like to catch some fish for dinner. So,I take him,his wife, and their two Boxer puppies down to the pond. While we are there,I notice something hanging from the (rear) of one of the puppies and ask,,what the heck is that? The wife says,,oh,,that stupid puppy got into my yarn and ate a bunch of it,,He has been (depositing it) for days! Well, a little while later,,that puppy jumps in the pond and starts swimming around. The owner of the pond looks at us and says,,what the heck is he doing? I immediately remember the yarn and say,,,Trolling!
Here he is last month, at about 84lbs. He's gained about 8-10lbs since then, and gotten dumber. His nose is pink because he tried to bury his food dish in his crate, under a scrap of carpet:
All cute pics and funny stories. Especially like the puppy ones.
I used to have a black lab that had a taste of just about everything in my house. This included my waterbed mattress.
