Here are a couple of what we have here, first one is the second day he was here, second one was last month at 10 months, he's grown just a tad bit in that time. And this dog truely is dumb, could right a book on what he has done.
Flint is always happy. As to the small pics, I could not figure out how to make them big. Thats what I was trying to do in the earlier post that I deleted.

For what ever the reason all of our cats love the dog to the point that it drives her nuts trying to get away from them, they sleep with her eat with her and clean her just like she is one of their own,but she is a good sport about it never shows any aggression towards them even when they are cleaning her and then bite her on the ear for no reason. My dogs name is Chyna and that is Squirrel sleeping with her,my wife and the dog are the only ones that can go near her.

Our cats are the same way with our big dog - he's a 100 pound husky mix, but he's an epi-dog (has seizures about every three weeks) so he's on a lot of meds, and they kind of make him dopey and mellow, and the cats love that. They rub all over him, lay on him when they're cold, use his tail as a chew toy, clean his ears (that's kind of gross!), and he just lets them do whatever they want. We got a black male cat that grew up with the dog - they're best buddies, and the cat acts just like a dog - growls and barks.
The new puppy is a different story however, he's a little too bouncy for them to be comfortable with. He's already been swatted a time or two (by the cats that think they're cats.) But I expect they'll get along fine once he mellows a bit and everyone learns their place...
Jim that sounds like quite the dog/cat relationship!
That black cat is a real whacko. My wife had a fox take one of her hens one night. The next day she calls me at work - she says "You won't believe this, but I got up and the fox was back in the chicken pen. I opened the slider to yell at the fox, and before I could stop him Winston (the black cat that thinks he's a 100 pound dog) takes off out the door and down the stairs of the deck, straight toward the chicken pen. Barking and growling all the way. The fox had no idea how to deal with that. The cat chased him twice around the chicken pen and then off into the woods."
We have 7 solid black cats and they have always shown an intrest in Chyna since they were kittens and lived outside. When we would walk the dog they would all line up and watch her every move (I think they thought she was mama because she was black like them) out of the 7 four are in love with her 2 don't mind her and 1 shows no intrest but he is afraid of his own shadow.
I also have a few cats that aren't black that think she's the bomb and my tabby Stripe likes to rough house with her and gets her all wound up until she is slambing him to the ground and he loves every minute of it,goofy cat!

We had a weiner dog for many years and he always came up with something entertaining.
One Christmas, he ate some of the tinsel off the tree. We didn't see him do it but found out the next day as the dog was running furiously around the yard with tinsel uh "chasing" him. Ditto, cushions, yarn, fabric etc. He even chewed rocks.
That dog also had great taste in books. Really liked the old leather bound ones we had, especially that huge Webster dictionary. Eventually we had to leave the bottom shelves empty so he couldn't get them so easy.
How he ever flew high enough to steal the pizza off the counter top we never could figure. But he knew he was committing a crime since he was hiding the pizza behind the couch and had the guilty look all dog owners know well.
He has since passed on and probably will kick the devil off his throne.
