Yes, especially since the OP already got it to seat. I feel for him and hope it doesn't take 6 hrs to turn it 180. I thought stuff like this only happened to me. I recently tried to change a clutch out overnight in a Toyota so I could work the next day. To change out the pilot bearing in the crankshaft, the accepted method is to pack the hole with grease and use a dowel to drive the bearing out. Hydraulic pressure builds behind the bearing, forcing it out.... uh huh... unless the dust cover over the rollers fails and then all it does is blow the front cover off and shoot grease out around the rollers! I had prybars, a dent puller, an air chisel and an assortment of screws, dowels, ect... I finally got it out, only 6 hrs later than the 5 mins it should have taken. Stayed up all night in the dark and cold and still missed work the next day, and lost my job over it. Never a dull moment in my life.
well that whole thing about seating it on the cam and rotating the engine is a work of art. I can move this thing all around and just a turn of the crank it falls into place. I was ready to burn this thing to the ground. Thank you FTE!!!!
