For the 09s, the Ram appears to have the best interior and ride. I'm not entirely sure on interior space however. Especially since they now have a true crew cab.

Being the Tundra has the largest interior of the Crew Cabs currently, and the new F150 is to have even more room then that, I'm not so sure the Ram will have the most interior space, unless it's a MegaCab model.
Ride, I'll say due to the coils, the Ram may just have the best ride.
Best interior, well I wasn't too impressed with the interior of the Ram myself, but haven't got to touch and view in person. Still liked the F150 interior (based on style/looks), as long as it's not the Platinum model with all the excessive buttons on the center stack.
It's funny. The guy mentions how cheap you can get a base tundra, he gets proven wrong, then you manage to find the top trim level ford isn't budging on (that toyota doesn't even have an equivalent to) to make your argument.
Lets compare though... I don't think you'll disagree with me when I'll say the harley and the KR are waaay out of the toyota's league when it comes to luxury. The lariat fully optioned is pretty much right on the money with where the Limited trim level of the toyota will be.
The toyota limited 4x4 crewmax is 43,289 according to toyota's site. over 1 grand more than what you found - but good job on working that google button.
The lariat starts at $36,000 MSRP according to Ford's site. That's $7.3k disadvantage for toyota to start. The lariat doesn't indeed have any promotions going on right now either, so next up you're at the dealer looking for deals...
So let's take a look:
search for new, no distance restriction, toyota tundra, 4x4, with keywords "Limited" and "Crew max", priced between 1 and 36000.
There are 15 exact matches in the whole united states that sell below the MSRP of a lariat 4x4 crewcab F150. Now, if you think that someone will pay MSRP for a lariat f150, you're out of your mind.
You can try whatever you want to make the toyota sound cheaper than the F150... but with the exception of very rare occurances (like the 15 linked above), it's not gonna happen.
It's simply a significantly more expensive truck with a frame held together by bolts, a tail gate that bends under more than 200lbs of weight, shakes the fillings out of your teeth on the freeway, snaps camshafts on occasion, and at the end of the day, despite it's 38 air bags, it's still not as safe as an F150.
I didn't get proven wrong at all. You can have a 4.7l doublecab grade for $800 dn, $169 mo all day long. That is fact. That is the starting point of the negotiations. Maybe it's just in Oklahoma, since we do tend to buy more trucks, so more get shipped here. The deal I described is fact, on paper, and I rejected it. I wanted a 4X4 5.7L for $300/mo (had them @ $380/mo with nothing down). What do you want me to do, ask for the contract I rejected so I can scan it, and post it on here. Give me a break. I'm 27 years old. I have no reason to tell stories...
I drive an 08 F-550 bucket-truck at work that I got with 70 miles on it. I can post pictures of it if you would like. Something on the front end pops every time I turn right (feels like someone kicking the floorboard). The dealership says that's normal for the new SuperDuty. Now we have been contacted by the dealer, and informed to watch the temperature gauge because they are having issues with the motor/radiator combo overheating. I have less than 5k miles on it still. Does this sound like quality to you???

I didn't say you didn't get that deal. I said if you got that deal on the toyota, you should be able to get a similar if not better deal on the cheaper Ford. You said that's not possible or whatever. It would be easier to pull the same deal on a cheaper ford than a toy, plain and simple.

YOUR WELCOME !!!!
Two corrections.
1) The lifetime warranty is powertrain only. Not a bad thing at all.
dodge is better than ford.

why don't you troll elsewhere for a while...your whole 10 posts are nothing but a pile of bullspit. the truck has the same brick-like aerodynamics it always had, the hemi is a joke, it'll never see 20+mpg...
lifetime bumper to bumper is awesome... lets see them last long enough to honor it.

Actually..The aerodynamics of the new ram are MUCH better then the old one. As far as engines go, the hemi is certainly not a joke.
i was in one too...towing a 6 place inclosed sled trailer with 3 sleds. not impressed by any means. the mega cab is way too noisy, and the fuel consumption is ridiculous.

Same for my F150 towing anything. No power and drinks gas.
I'll also bet you that Chrysler is around for some time. The gov will bail them out again just like they will Ford and GM. I'm not for that at all, but that's how it will go. One thing is for sure though-If they don't bail Chysler (which they will) then they can't bail Ford or GM.
i think that there is no dought to all of us that we would not be disappointed if ford offered an answer with more comparable power. In 2004 when the F150 first came out it had 300h 365t, just inching past the gm's that already has that much power in 2000 if you got the 1500hd. the hemi that came out in 2003 had 345h 375t. No matter how you look at it, the hemi can't be a joke. in its state right now it easily has more power (on paper and in real life driving) than the 5.4.
I am not a troll. I don't post all that much, but i am on the site almost everyday just reading for fun the post that come each day, mostly cause i'm waiting for more news on the new f150. I love ford trucks, as i own a ford ranger, but im a little tired of seeing the competition walk all over ford in the power department. Yes there is a lot more to trucks than power, but power is by far one of the most important components. I think we all know at this point that power and fuel economy are what sells trucks. I hope the new 150 cause put out, because the new dodge sure does look like it will be able to.
