What would you pay for-

A complete 70 F100 Ranger with full trim that has everything you need to restore your existing truck- Remember, this has EVERYTHING, right down to the last Ford stamped nut and bolt.
I broke the poll into ranges for a little bit of fun.

Everyone will want it for less then $500, but I guess actually you're buying a completely restored truck since it will have everything you need in perfect condition? Won't get that kind of truck for less then $2000(at least around rust belt).

I read it as a parts truck.....so I assumed it was probably a no-title or had some hidden tranny or engine surprise....the original post seemed to regard it as a truck with parts "to complete your restoration..."

Basically, let's say you are restoring an F250 or 350, have a great drivetrain, and good frame, but the body is demolished. What would finding say an F100 that has EVERYTHING bodywise in great shape, just need to transfer it all onto your frame.

I'm in the $500 or less range. I only paid $300 for my '68 F250 and it was complete and drivable with about an hour's work, with no dents and zero rust. But, I'm notoriously cheap...I hate to pay full price for anything. The deals are out there, you just have to find them.

So Jared, is this a truck you're already looking at and just trying to negotiate a price, or is it an item that you're hoping to stumble across?

If youve got sufficient parking, there are some great deals on CL and elsewhere, you can often find a complete truck, possibly with engine or trans "issues" for several hundred bucks, and a lot of the 2wd ones have good bodies! You see a fair number of vehicles where the owner has parking problems, city ordinances, out of date registrations, etc. Here in No Ca., you still see a pretty fair # of 67-72's for sale, and i'll bet that i could drive up to Oregon, and by just checking out CL listings, i could purchase enough old Fords to start my own parts biz.
