According to the website above the wires leaving from the ICP and IPR leave at the same point. However, on my truck the wires that leave the harness right next to the ICP go to a thing, (That looks nothing like the IPR in the website above) and has nothing to replace.
It was plugged into the HPOP resevoir and all the oil leaked out.
It has a a two wire plug with a piece of grey plastic on it and a point on it.
What is the thing on the back of the HPOP itself is this it?
There are no wires going to it though. Confused.
Dealer said it had wires going to it.
Well I found the IPR. replaced the o-rings and didn't see any splits except in the black one and that was on the new one so I assumed it was normal.
Both the green ones were just fine.
Put it back in.
Found some gunk in the fuel lines and so I am to the store to replace those before I put the fuel bowl back in.

That "thing" on the back of the reservoir is the EOT sensor (engine oil temperature) and there should be a connector that plugs into it. For now it will be OK the way it is but in the colder months the PCM uses info from it to determine if and for how long the glow plugs activate, EBPV activation, injection timing and when the torque convertor locks.
the EOT is on and plugged in. I don't know if it was a clog. I am assuming so and maybe a clog in the other lines. I am putting inline clear filters right before my WVO/ #2 switch on each place the return and to lines.
It could have been all the crappy veggie clogged on to the wiring on the side of the fuel bowl.
man, cough one up to the veggie bandits. at least its up and running. i guess thats why they say you really have to filter the crap out of the veggie before you use it.
