I have a 1990 F-150 with a 4.9 I bought new, the E4OD tranny just died. I'm debating whether to spend the money to have it rebuilt or just look for another truck. The truck has about 190,000 miles on it and the 4.9 still runs like new. The rest of the truck isn't in great shape, was used in construction and has hauled a lot of lumber.
