Has anyone else noticed that Lisa is the life blood of these OT threads? To think she is getting paid at the same time and is walking away from a job like that????
I agree with you Mark. Lisa keeps this going. She leaves for the weekend and it dies. I am sure she knows what she is doing by leaving, there comes a time when we have to follow our men. I have done it before and would do it again if need be.

Exactly. Cris I agree. I love Randy and I am willing to make a change to see him happy. He found his dream job, and if it's in Iowa, it's in Iowa. If I have to leave my job, I have to leave my job. I am not attached to what I do. To be honest with you, it's an opportunity for me to do a few things I have been wanting to do..like go back to school and get my teaching certificate and my masters. It was a pretty easy decision, even if it has been stressful for me.
Wow, your just like my wife,, she still thinks she puts me in there, she doesnt realize it is a planned moment.. Just like when you send us shopping..we dont come back with whats on the list for a reason...I am now banned from Sams Club, Grocery stores, drug stores.. oh yeah.. Dont get me worng, she plays the game to, no more auotparts stores for her, hardware, building supply, tools stores.. ect...
Pat, I understand what you are saying. Wife always ask me to go with her to the grocery store. I always say no, because she can have a list of 10 things, but still has to go down every aisle and look at every can, bottle, ect.

Ya but you would do the same thing if you were in a Diesel ware house Rick lol.
Yep! This job sucks *** sometimes. I am highly underpaid for what I do here. Don't let yourself believe that I am not working while on here. Right now I am designing a furniture advertisement for a magazine, setting up about 12 business cards for print for the corporate folks at Goodwill, and getting myself prepared for another RFQ for a 10-million a year account. I just ordered 30,000 pens for Canyon Casino, discussing hats with a construction company, and making revisions on logo artwork for a redesign I did on school uniforms for one of our biggest school districts. And thats just in the past 2 hours this morning.
On the plate for today: design 6 catalog covers, going through the 50 or so requests I had in my inbox today (my real inbox. I came back to about 200 emails). I have to design a logo for an up and coming real estate company, and set their letterset. I have to quote some apparel products for one of our big oil companies...and the list continues.
I am a multi-tasker and I get really bored unless I am doing 10 things at once..which is why I come on here and talk to you guys..it breaks up the monotony sometimes.
Besides, I have a feeling my company will offer to let me work remote from Iowa. They're going to lose a brick when I tell them I am leaving.
How the heck you keep tract of all that stuff Lisa I will never know but keep you the good work!!

Tnx Nick, but its the same as any of these guys knowing exactly which fuse does what, or Jeremy doing that Cummins conversion...And this nut went..where?
I have to keep huge lists of what needs done and when its due and stuff like that. Even when i do something mechanical, ill make a trace of the part or nut or whatever, and a note to where it goes or what it does. Otherwise I forget stuff.

The little girl is rattled right now. I've never seen so many grammar errors in one of her posts.
I know what you mean, Lisa. I've got nuts, bolts, brackets, etc. nearly everywhere...some of it's in boxes in the garage, some of it's on a work table, some of it's stored in my enclosed trailer next to the house. However, when I am looking for something, I know exactly where it is and when I got to put everything back together, I'm thinking I'll be able to remember where everything went. Although, it has been several months since I took the whole front end apart, so I may come looking for help & pics from you all here in a couple weeks.

Guys out in the shop decided that they do not want me to go anywhere so I was ruthlessly attacked, held down in my chair and then duct taped securely to it. Someone from Tooling Maintenance came and cut me loose finally.
Pictures were taken and will be up once I get them.
