Lisa -- to answer your queston from the now closed marathon OT thread, we have a completely separate squadron dedicated to weather. I'm interested in it, but that's about it. WX can affect comm, but with the way it's done now, it's less of a concern. But here's a completely worthless piece of comm trivia: At certain times of the year, the sun can get behind our satellites for a few minutes. Naturally those times are classifed, it basically makes the ground terminals completely deaf for a short time. Yeah, we have to plan for those -- they're called "Solar Conjunctions". A real PITA for SatComm'ers.

EDIT: And welcome back Cookie!! Great pics!!

Scott, that looks like an awesome vacation. I must have missed it, but where did you guys go...reminds me a lot of Emerald Isle, NC...but I guess a lot of beach places look similar too.

Rick, if you're reading this, I call dibbs on some Crawfish next year. I lub me suh crawfish, buh we ain got nun rond heya.

I was really hoping that other OT thread would make it to 1000 posts. Oh well, I guess we can see how long this one runs. I don't know if there are loose 'rules' surrounding the length of the OT threads or not though.

Scott, Like the others have said, nice looking family and sounds like you had a good time. I just love taking time off to be with the family. Just so many things I want to share with them.

Good lookin' crew Scott,
Our whole family went down to Pigeon Forge for the weekend. 16 of us in one cabin . We had a good time though. I saw Justin (jdecker88) for about 2 seconds. I wasn't sure that it was him until we got home.

Corned beef and cabbage is good also. I love all kinds of foods. A nice medium rare to medium steak is my favorite though.
