Shortly after I got my '54 F100, I decided I wanted a forward-tilt hood on it. I also knew that late '80's, early 90's full-size Buicks have a forward-tilt hood, and I wondered if it would be a practical setup for my truck.
I recently came upon this tech post on The H.A.M.B., using such a hood on a Nash Metropolitan.
You might try doing and advanced search of this forum. I remember several threads regarding the Buick front tilt hinges.....I think it was from several years ago though.
I've also heard tell of people using the BMW hinges.
There have been lots of threads about front tilt hoods and I know several of the members have custom made front hinges.
I had some drawing for making your own bracketry but I have misplaced. I can find out whatever you need to use this. a Gentleman named Bud Stull introduced this setup as far I can recollect. He lives in Illnois. He ran a body shop.
