460 headers

460 headers
i have a 69 f100 with a 460 im lookin to get more hp out off it and was lookin at my headers they are 1 1/2" coming off the heads and 1 3/4 after the bend this seems really small to me so what would be some better headers could somebody post up a link i was thinkin they should be 2" or bigger what do yall think?

Standard 1 5/8 id hedders. The 385s like a little choke in the exhaust to run.
Miniscule power gains can be added by throwing money at another set of hedders.
Now a custom $3000.00 dollar tuned set can free up a few ponies.
The size of the hedder all depends on the internal work on the engine... Are you running a .700 lift or greater cam are you running aftermarket heads like TWs or CJs?
