There was a lot of fuel in the upper filter housing, when i went to put the new filter in, it pushed most of the fuel up and over the lip of the housing. Its amasing how just a little fluid can get every where !

I changed my friends on his 06' F350 DRW with 3/4 tank and on level ground. With the water plug up in never stopped draining. After removing the filter fuel continued to run. Lets just say that it was not pleasant. I changed it on my 2006 F250, on a slight incline, with less than 1/4 of a tank and I don't think I spilled a drop.

When changing the upper filter use a turkey baster to suck out the fuel from the housing be4 installing the new filter. Buy your own for the garage or you will be in divorce court.
