advance auto 6637

needfast help, the idiots at advance auto said they have no cross for our 6637 filter, what is the part number for theirs

No idea Joe. Give them the Wix number 46637 and see if they can cross that. Even the napa number is really 46637 so that could be the issue.

When I was there last they had a Purolator filter that looked exactly like our 6637. But I never have been back because I still don't need one yet.

i gave them the "46637" "6637" "546637" all with no luck, the dude behind the counter was a moron. i went accross the street to autozone and was able to cross it to a fram number- ca6818 (if i recall) and they dont carry fram but their computer does...idiots as well. so i took the fram number back to advance at which point they said "oh yeah we can get fram" but then they dont carry anything but purolator at which point i said" THAT IS WHAT I WANT!!!!" and he says "oh....." so now i think all is well........no. now when we cross the fram number that already showed up on their computer to purolator it says there is no such fram filter............ i just turned around and walked out.

wow, didnt even notice i was over 5k or anywhere near it...lol thanks for the congrats.

doesn't anyone remember the post from about a month ago about somebody that found the purolator air filter at advance auto? they gave the part number and the price but i cant find it with this search engine!!!!!

I'll do it! I can't guarantee it's the right one cause I just eyeballed it and thought it looked the same.
