Removing Harmonic Balancer?

Ok i re read this post, I assume you are pulling the balancer to do the timing chain?
Before you pull it is your engine at number one cyl TDC?
It is obvious by the querys this is your first time working on this vintage of fords. The have oddball and quirky components not used on more modern engines.
Shoot me via PM A number to fax you the correct procedure for checking the slack and how to replace the chain and gears. Better yet purchase a 64 shop manual and all the correct tooling and procedured for repair are laid out.
