harmonic balancer question

hello i have a 79 f-250 with a 460 engine and automatic transmission. i need to remove the harmonic balancer to replace the gasket for the timing chain. Honestly i have never removed one before, so i am really in need of help.

You'll need a puller. Most auto parts places have a loan a tool program. While you're in there think about installing an aftermarket timing chain with straight up timming.
