91 E4OD replacement

What would I have to do to put a later model, 94 - 96 E4OD behind my 91 7.3? Thanks in advance!!

i was told from 93 and up that the speed sensor hooked up different and it would not work. it needs that input for comp. info for shifting

if you allready have an e40d, chances are you could have it rebuilt and updated for the same price or less as a new one, or you could find a rebuilt updated one on ebay moters or something similar. i had my e40d rebuilt and updated for 2400$ and its workin good so far.

Thanks! I've since decided to have mine rebuilt. I'm afraid of buying something used and having it take a dump to! Thanks again!
