Electrical woes

Electrical woes
I need some help chasing an electrical problem that is intermittent.
As I drive my radio will cut off, at the same time the windsheild wipers stop completely? Is there a relationship here? Everything else seems to function normally. One other observation, if the fan switch is on high the temp. needle climbs to hot?? Yes, if you turn the switch to medium the temp comes back to normal, go figure??

1988 F250 4.9 with 400K miles on it.
