V-10 don't know which tranny but its automatic I get 7.4 MPG but thats a combo of short town trips and also some hauling of a camper or my fishing boat.
first tank i've averaged 13.6 according to the lie-o-meter, 13.5 according to pen and paper. this is basically rush hour commute to work, but it is mostly freeway - and me being late every morning probably makes it less stop and go

I do drive like a grandpa. When i picked it up, the lie-o-meter said 8.2mpg.. I'm kind of surprised at how well it does. my old F150 with 34.5s on it got between 14.5 and 15.5 under the same conditions... overall, the 1-2 MPG loss is well worth it.
It's not that bad. I bought the X mainly for towing. Actually some would be surprised that the 4.30's result in better mileage towing due to not having to lock out the OD.
I do too. I have to with all the manhole covers in our city sitting 2 inches below the pavement. And all the trenches that have sunk down 2 inches after digging them up to repair whatever in the road. A 3/4 ton or ton truck rides terrible over all these road defects. But anyhow, even driving like a drunk old man doesn't help my mpg at all. 8.2 mpg and 8.3 mpg is all I can get in city driving.
