Awesome thread, guys. The fuel pump is my next "major" project (I'll probably roll my own FASS). I've already done the in-tanks & CCK, so I've seen those improvements. Now to tackle the pump & pre-filter so I'll be ready for the larger sticks & turbo. But the first thing I'm doing when I get home is to add the pressure gauge so it can be seen from the cab. I still have no idea what my fuel pressure is doing.
You would want to make another one. People are doing it from the same pickup, but using a second one is the way to go. If you want to run them in parallel at least. That way there would be no starvation of the pumps by them both trying to pull from the same small pickup. Another benefit if one pump goes, the second one will still be running. With two pumps pumping, your pump life should go up, since you are now only needing half the fuel unless your on the throttle hard.
I just deleted my avatar, my truck doesn't have stacks anymore lol. Going with a full exhaust, since I never got the benefit of owning this truck with one, had a 5" side pipe when I bought it, I had two different sets of stacks, now I am back to a side pipe, waiting for my new exhaust to come in. Should be a nice new change.
