I called him <mechanic> and he said no rocker arm problem.

Now he's gonna do a compression check on every cylinder.

Man- I wish you had that at the house and not the shop. I just realized you can't be too far away from me and not only could I probably diagnose that thing in short order, but fix it as well. I usually wind up charging about half of what a shop does. I make pretty decent side money doing it and the folks who's cars I fix save a bunch of money. It's a win-win deal.
The carpentry market is a bit slow right now and I can always use the extra cash. You may want to seriously consider PMing me when you get a diagnosis or get tired of waiting for one.
