I'll never forget the day I went to Otay Mesa in southern cal, and found out there had just been a mass crushing of every single eighties truck they had in every yard out there. I still get bummed out when I think about it, and sorry for the language.

That defineatly sucks- Maybe that's why California is the land of fruits and nuts. The guy that runs the junkyard I go to the most says he buys every 80's Ford pickup that he can, and by the time he crushes them, there's not much left. And come to think of it- I don't remember seeing any Chevies!

srkr that is a very good looking truck. I love the color scheme and everything youve done to it. Thats not the chesnutt color they put on the 2000s F-Series trucks is it? Very nice truck.

Clean truck!

If you get wheels I would go with some of the OEM wheels from 87-96. There are a few to choose from. I think that any of them would look good.

Stay away from the aftermarket polished aluminum. It has to be polished all the time to look good. I recently got rid of a set of those and went with OEM wheels.

These trucks esp 80-86 look best with 15-16 inch rims. Maybe 17. The wheel wells aren't big enough for the larger wheels.

I do like that paint scheme. Good choice. The grille looks great.

It's his truck. Had it painted. Here's a pic not so much about the rims in the face but a overall pic:
