I just rear wheel dyno'd me 94 7.3L IDI. I rolled out 150hp @ 2980rpm and 320lbs/ft @ 1860rpm!! I was quite impressed with the results and was really pleased when i beat my budies done-up 04 F-150 on torque and my other buddies 1997 silverado 5.7 vortec. Gotta love the old mechanicals.

I have been wanting to dyno mine but not had the money to do so. Cost $100 where I live unless I can find someplace where they are doing for a day for like $40.
We have a a shop in campbell river and I heard they charge $60 per run, but I never got the chance to have my truck dynoed. One thing after another kept getting in my way and I don't really have the time.
Ya my truck has no turbo. its all mechanical!! the motor is rated at 185HP @ 3000rpm on the rocker cover, but thats at the flywheel. i was impressed. I payed $168 and did three pulls to get a sold reading. My third ruunn was my highest. I went just out sided of Landmark Manitoba. Its a place called Walls Rod and Custom. Good place. Brian Wall was super Friendly. Im going back when i have turbo and propane installed!!
