Hard Start after Partial rebuild
Hard to start after insalling engine. It cranks for 3 or 4 seconds then starts and idols fine.
I had the engine out for a rod and piston replacement. I also pulled the heads for inspection and replaced the injector seals.
Insalled engine and cranked it over and blead out air at my high preasure X over. After the air was out it started after it cranked for several sec. After letting it idol for 15 min I shut it down, topped off the oil and started again, same thing , took 3 -4 sec. of crank before it started.
????????????????? Anyone have any suggestions, Thanks

Thanks Tim. I guess I screwed up when I put my pan on with permatex, because the dam thing is leaking at the rear. I should have used the rightsealant. I am getting good at pulling this heavy chunk of iron out, ha ha
