A wider door will be nicer and a metal door is certainly alot more secure. My garage is not insulated yet so it won`t be too hard to wider the door way 6 inches.

Ive found that a guy needs to worry more about what the jamb is made of, then the actual door.
Make sure your son does the jamb up nice and solid!
Who is a guy kidding though, criminals get through any kinda door if they wanna get in haha.

Good call on longevity Morris, thats why I went with tin on my new shop over siding and shingles.
I wanted tin on the roof of our house, but had to comprimise with the old lady there on shingles haha.

Good Tuesday all. Got to sleep in today, just got back from running around looking for filters etc for our reverse osmosis. They had to order parts, gotta go back in an hour. I go through this every year, it allmost seems that the product's I buy go obsolete. They have no problem selling me a new unit lol. They;re bringing in universal fitting's for me so I won't go through this again. Now that our Iron filter and water softener are new I should be good for a while.
