Bleh, it isnt sounding good for any company right now. But at the same time I dont really care too much, let the big auto companies put some heat on the bug oil companies, and maybe they can get us some cheaper fuel.
We`ve put the heat on the global oil supply by gobbling it up, we`re the only ones that can do anything about the demand and price. Simple, smaller oil demand, smaller oil price!
There`s nothing big business or politicians can do.....we have only ourselves to blame!
Morris, these high prices may have been a blessing in the long run - with energy costs soaring, research is strong on developing alternate sources.
There WILL be some serious conversion over to electric cars for those who can make that work as well as tons of other developments - the fun is just starting and those f****rs who have had us hostage for so long with oil will have to change their ways!
do you ever wonder how much of a hand the auto makers have in this oil biz?? i mean lets face it... it something got so expensive that you started to go broke cause people weren't giving you business anymore, you'd be pretty pissed, and be going with great guns to find out why its taking such a hike... i don't think i've read too many stories about the automakers whining loudly about the loss of sales... i might be wrong, but sounds like another conspiracy to me...
Automobiles cause somehing like 7% of the total pollution (CO2's emitted). Grenn fighters lean on automobiles because that is where the money is.
If we get serious about actually turning the trend accessories like flight will have to be done away with.
Okay, Ryan is scaring me talking like that. He sounds kinda smart. Am I getting the right or wrong impression?
I agree we have ourselves to blame on the price of fuel. Some guys around here never seem to turn off the ignition on the gas guzzling pickups. I saw one FORD truck on the weekend in the mall parking lot that I could have walked under without having to bend over very far (remember, I'm 5'4"). If I was 5', I don't think I would have had to duck! Not sure of the size of tires/wheels but they were huge too. I figure he might be getting 8 mpg if he's lucky.
It seems around here, there is a competition to see who can get the biggest wheels and the highest lift kit. Yeah they look really cool but unless you make $50/hour in the patch, you can't afford to drive them.

don't be fooled...he's really smart... the guy's got more trucks than any of us, money in the bank, and no finanial obligations. he's not married (yet), no kids that he knows of, and he's a good member of FTE... that spells SMART...
