It's a natural gas grill, I tied it into the same pipe going out to the pool heater!

I leave it on cause it will just take longer to re-heat the 13,000 gallons.....lol

It does during the winter, we have ice compensator bags we put in under the cover!

I don`t imagine it gets near as cold as it does here, once in a while it can hit -40.
