Morning boys. Some beautiful days here lately. Is Texas in flooding right now Gerry? I guess one little rain shower there would be a tragic flood...being how everything is bigger in Texas...
My boxer is hunting mice...in the kitchen Oh how I love farm life. We got our chicks yesterday. Cute little ***** of fluff that will turn into larger ***** of delicious meat in 12-14 weeks. Its interesting seeing the reaction of our adult hens when they hear the little peeps coming from the coop. Nature tells them that they should be in there caring for the little ones. We're keeping them separated as I could see the big hens doing some damage to the little chicks.
Hope everyone is having a productive week so far...except for you retired guys. I hope you're successfully relaxing as you wish
I heard there was an accident around Wadena and there was a bunch of chicks all over the highway.
Morning boys... A bit cooler today, which is welcomed after a couple days of roasting on the roof. Still haven't gotten any rain, but for my neighbors sake I hope it holds off for a day or 2. He's got 250 acres left to seed and he's all done. What he's got in is coming up nicely already though!!
My wife discovered a duck nest near our garden yesterday. Quite exciting, though momma duck quickly showed her and the pooches the door
Too bad about the chick accident. They're cute little things when they're this young. In 4 months my mouth will be watering

Special thanks to Morris for making my pants fit funny... Love that fox-body. If it weren't for the 9 miles of gravel I have to drive every day, I'd be very interested in it. Thats why I'm trying to aim my interests at trucks...

Congratulations John, all the best to you in your retirement. We expect some phenomenal progress on your projects right away.
was up at 6:00 am this morning which made for a nice sleep in, then the wife and I jumped in the panel and smeared and bunch of bugs on the grill and windshield, it was and still is a beautiful day. Shop time should come tomorrow after I cut the lawn.
