you ever notice how the lil' jobs turn into big ones ????? started a couple of simple jobs on the 53 and lo and behold the now 55 year old hardware is turning it into a BIG job ...............oh well just had to bient !!!! { thats a cross 'tween b=thching and venting } .
I learned long ago never to assume any job is simple...nothing is easy, everything is hard! If you live by that you will never be surprised by a big job again. They're all BIG JOBS!
Thats why they make Gas Axes. Too tight - Gas Ax it, Too rusty - Gas Ax it. Oops guess I cut a little too deep - Get a new frame, oops I didn't now there was still gas
We've all been there before. Sometimes, I find it easier to just take on the whole project and completely redo it rather than just fix something and find out all the effort was worthless. You finish one project and it creates two more. Boy can I relate! BTW- I love that word "bient", reminds me of Randy Jack's "fugly".
i wish i could use the mexican hot wrench on one particular item dick , but i cant . the upper bolts in the dog leg mounts in the rear { cab mounts } are frozen but good . had to cut and chisel the heads off carefully and now i gotta take the bed loose and get at the backs of 'em . as careless as i tend to be i wouldna want to get anywhere near the mounts with the torch !!!!!!!!!!! p.s dont mean to offend anyone with my slang terms for a torch .
