Alright guys I change my fuel filter yesterday and decided since my fuel heater element is not longer even in the bowl that I would take out the plate at the bottom. Well when I got the stand pipe ready to remove I found a rubber seal that the bottom of the filter would come up against but it looked like it might have come from another filter that I never noticed it pulled out.
So today I checked my spare motor it also has a rubber seal there but it looked different. Anybody know if there is supposed to be something in there. I left it out as the filters have their own seal that seals around the stand pipe but just wondering if anyone has notice this before.

I dont think that a rubber seal has to be there, Im pretty sure that is from another filter and they looked different because a different filter brand.
