Joe, we would love to share with you and California. Georgia too. We have a large creek that runs through the bottom of our farm and it has been out of its banks 7 times this spring. Hadn't flooded for a few years which was unusual. Some of the big flood that hit Cedar Rapids came from around here. The creek was the highest that any of the oldtimers around here could remember. Our crops got washed and drowned out but that is nothing compared to the 4000 homes in Cedar Rapids that were damaged, 2000 needing to be destroyed now. This mess started December 1 with an ice storm and hasn't quit yet. Going to be a longggggg year.

Geez, I only thought I had a headache when I started reading this. 4 in the morning and I chose to read this thead. Guess I'll check back Sat. night and read the next 88 post. It was hot and had some scattered storms, one of which was on the lake I was fishing, got just a bit squirrelly for a while. Calm water to 4 foot white caps in a matter of seconds. Oh yeah, the fishing sucked.
