so, my dad just bought a 2000 lariat F-450 crew cab. its a beautiful truck, and there is jsut enough space where the radio is now to put a CD player. the CD player we have in mind, i dont know the tech stuff ive jsut heard about it, apparently it can tell when you leave a city/state, and shows the skyline of the nearest major city. i thought that that was really fascinating and likely to get my dad, who loves his sterio (he took 10 inches out of the backseat of his other truck,a 90 lariat F350 crew cab, so that he could add in a subwofer)into an accident becasue he was occupied watchign the skyline.

I find it hard to believe that a aftermarket CD player won't fit in your truck. You will need an aftermarket install kit though. Browse [link:www.crutchfield.com|Crutchfield]to see what fits. If they don't have it listed (I believe only goes up to the F350, but not much different at all) email them with any questions. Their customer service is very good.
