CD player/steering wheel button questions

Well, the CD player in my 04 F150 Lariat is having the bad disk problem/error, so I'm thinking of upgrading to an aftermarket CD player.

I was wondering if the volume and memory station buttons on the steering wheel work on the aftermarket units, and what CD player would you guys recommend?

I won't be running a amp or sub or anything like that... I don't need a DVD player, but I would like a good CD player and I might upgrade the door speakers...

yes, they will work on aftermarket units..... but must be programmed. if you get a swix controller (easy 3 wire hook up), you can do just what you want. check the link below...

should be very helpful to you.
