CD Skipping or 'No CD' Error

My 6-CD Changer, will play CD's put they will skip. Sometimes I'll get the 'No CD' Message. Does anyone know of a fix for this problem? I've searched the archives, but I haven't found any solutions.

I have a '98 Expedition with the MACH stero system installed.

hey take it to the dealer... i dunno if you have any warrenty or not but it shouldnt matter... the factory decks were installed with out a fan so when/if you run your heat it over heats the deck causing it to fry... mine did i took it in they ordered the same radio but in came with this fan unit on top now its fine just after you shut your truck off you can still here the fan but its just cooling the deck... Dealer says the stereos were supposed to have these installed by there manufacturer but werent... mine was covered by warrenty yours might be to....
