this cd player came stock in my ford f150 lariat and it worked fine until i let my 16 yr old daughter use my truck and she called and said she got this error: cd dj error
Can anyone help
Did she put her own cd in? Home made CD's are the leading cause of errors. Either way you may need to reset the cd player by unplugging it (pulling the fuse). It should fix it unless the cd is stuck.
If there is a cd stuck in there, do NOT try to get it out manually. This will not happen, you will only end up tearing up your face on the cd player. Try pulling the fuse like black said and see what happens, if that doesn't work, try pulling the harness from the player as well as the fuse. If all else fails, take it to the shop, it should still be under factory warranty. (Home made cds are the leading cause of cd errors, that is how I screwed my stock cd player before I ever got my system in my F250 XLT)
