Cruise Control buttons

I was looking for a set of cruise control buttons for a 2004 f150. The truck has blank buttons and they are really square in shape. I found a set on ebay that says they will fit the truck but they have a little bit more of a rounded shape to them, just wondering if any knows if they would still work. Here is a link, thanks guys!

eBay Motors: FORD 97-05 F150 CRUISE CONTROL SWITCH NEW OEM (item 310057022843 end time Jun-11-08 12:12:50 PDT)

I know the truck would have to be flashed at the dealership for it to work.

the link the OP posted is for a 1997-2003 model F-150/Expy and the Heritage 2004 F-150

the 2nd link looks like OEM steering wheel buttons, but they ain't factory...unless the non-stereo steering wheel cc buttons look like that. all of the controls for my CC are on the left side and the buttons are each multi-function.

Mine looks just like the one in the picture.The Ford tech that installed mine got the switch from the parts counter at his dealership.I still have the box it came in which i'm using to keep the blanks that were installed in my steering wheel originally.

You also will need to have the correct stereo in your truck that is setup to work with the external buttons. I am not positive, but the external buttons may only work with the 6 disc/mp3 and the navigation unit.

when i had cruise control installed on my truck, they had to replace the entire sterring wheel assembly because the blank squares arent removable. it was done at a dealer where my cousin is the service manager and i dont think that he would've lied to me if the buttons could be just added on

Well,your cousin is a liar! I watched my Ford tech friend do the whole procedure on my truck! It took him about 15 minutes to remove the blanks and install the new switch! Then,he flashed my pc and I had cruise control!
Here is a pic of the blanks;
