What about getting them ceramic coated? I am hoping mine can be coated but who know.
You might be able to get them in from the bottom if you pull the trans but at that point I would just pull the engine so you know for sure. I am trying to figure out the best way to make my kit so that I can get each pipe off individually.
Also on the H-max kit I think it either uses the stock pipes or at least it keeps the pipe individual and separate from the collector.

The Hypermax kit uses seperate uppies and a collector but they are not stock Ford pieces.

This may be a bigger challenge than I thought.
Unbolt the cab mounts and you can raise the cab off the chassis, there's only 6 of them, one at each corner of the cab and 2 more outboard of the radiator support.
