I used to wear Levi's as they were the toughest. I no longer purchase any Levi products because they withdrew support to the Boy Scouts because the scouts don't allow homosexuals to be scout leaders. I wear Wranglers. jd
My favorite jeans are ones that I've been "breaking in" for about 5 or 6 years. I just can't find a new pair of jeans that feels right.
I've got regular cut black and dark blue Levis and Wranglers for church, funerals, and such. I've got some cheapo regular cut Key brand (Farm and Fleet) jeans that I wear at work, don't really care if I get them dirty or torn. Otherwise I've got a few pairs of No Boundary relaxed loose fit camo jeans and shorts I wear most of the time. By far the softest most comfortable pants I own, perfect for going commando around the house
I have two pairs of Arizonas that I bought probably 6-7 years ago and absolutely love. Wear them all the time.
They're actually starting to get pretty worn, which makes me sad, but I think they'll hold up a bit longer yet. They're so soft and comfortable now, I have several other pairs of jeans I rarely wear unless both these pairs are dirty.
BTW- I have a pair of jeans from Steve & Barrys and I have not been impressed. Yeah they were cheap, but they got rips at the corners of the back pockets after less than a year, and they don't really fit all that well either.

Umm, they're based at 1155 Battery St, San Francisco, CA 94111. Would THAT have anything to do with it?
My jeans always used to fail where all of the material meets at the seat. With this diamond shape, the load is spread all around, and no tears! It also allows for better movement overall, since you arent bound to a single point.
Dont buy Sandy Rivers the material aint bad but youll blow the zipper out long before you wear any hole in them, when I was a welder they were all I wore not any more a few weeks ago I blew 2 zippers in a row in fairly new jeans.
