I'm at work today and decided to remove the cover on the HFCM to clean it out due to the water fuel light staying on, but when removing the cover a black plastic piece fell out it is flat with two round sections on it each about and inch or so tall. Not sure which way it goes back in, along with the spring and plunger in the top of the HFCM Anyone have a exploded view of this or a basic ideal how the best way to put this back in?
Thanks, That helped, I got it back together, evidently the spring had came out of the return valve assembly, I had to put it back together in order for the cover to seat.
One more question, after getting the HFCM cover back on, I started the truck and let it idle for a few minutes to check for leaks, none found, so I shut it off and let it set for the rest of the afternoon and the night. This morning when I got in it to leave work it started fine and when I pulled out on the road it felt a little sluggish then I tried giving it more throttle and it would act as if it wasn't getting fuel but cleared up after a 1/8 mile or so and seem to run fine, could this just have been air in the fuel system from having the cover removed it drained a good deal of fuel out of the lines and HFCM while they were removed.
I cycled the key twice but not for that long of a period, just drove it again and was fine, So I'm guessing it was air, we will see after it sets for a day or so and make sure it doesn't bleed down.
