I'm sure it'll be fine. Well the next mod is taking my stinking muffler off my 4" exh. and putting in the delete pipe that I also ordered yesterday.

What difference if any did/have you noticed since installing the x-over?

I didn't really notice anything, but then again I've had mine over a year, so I can't honestly remember any difference. It's supposed to even out the oil press in the heads, but honestly if you look at it as the pump lines come from the same "reservoir" in the pump housing, I don't know how this really helps?? Don't matter, I already got mine!

I was going to but I decided that I wanted Big Oil. I know that BO from Terminator and BTS will equalize the pressure. Even Dennis at ITP will tell you it is not necessary. OTOH, if you are going with one of the single modified pumps, maybe.

After I installed my SS HPX, I did notice that the engine quieted down a bit. Took about a couple of hundred miles to do it. Since I'm an old fart, it did take me a little longer to install, but I got 'er done ! Thanks FTE members.

I did mine and the intank mod at the same time. With the DP on stock setting it is really smooth and quite a bit quieter. Worth every penny and a beers worth of labor in my book!
