Hpx

I just got my ss hpx from itp diesel today, and I was looking over the instructions and it said to use lock tite. My question is did you all put the lock tite on the threads going into the block, or on the threads for the tube, or both?

I don't think I did either. Get it torqued correctly, though for sure. I had mine a tad loose on one side it that HP oil ate an O-ring pretty quick.

I used it on the both. I had to re-tighten a couple of times before she would quit dripping, so don't freak out if ya see a little oil, just tighten a little more until she stops.

I didn't use Loc-Tite. Just tightened it until it was snug and the o-ring was seated. It's been almost a year, no leaks.

Don't use loctite on o-ring fittings, mostly because there's probably fluid on the threads youre screwing it into, and it won't cure.

Ok well that answered my question. I will only use it on the fitting for the tube itself, if I use it. Thanks guys
