Am replacing steering column in 1970 F100 truck. The replacement column apparently is not the same as the original, but I can make it work. Problem is that the replacement shaft requires a replacement steering wheel. I cannot identify the year/model that corresponds to this shaft. See photo. The top shaft is the original. Notice the threads for the steering wheel. The bottom picture is the replacement. I need a steering wheel that will fit this arrangement of threads and clearance. Can someone identify the year/model of this replacement shaft? Thanks.

The bottom picture with exposed 4 way flasher **** is the replacement.

4 way flasher **** protrudes thru the upper flange: The 4 way flasher switch was made as part of the turn signal switch beginning in 1973.
