Dreaded Turbo Siren
I noticed what sounded like someone blowing across the neck of a beer bottle about a month ago. While doing my WW install and EBV gut last week I found what I thought to be excessive shaft play. I bought a rebuild kit from Ron's and now the "siren" noise is quite a bit louder. So here's my question, can I get a replacement turbine anywhere? After the rebuild I noticed the slightest in/out play. Cruising EGTs are about the same, maybe a little lower. EGTs climb much faster than before(will leak check tomorrow), but the truck still runs great. I can't afford a new turbo right now (even a used stocker) and am wondering what my options are. How long can I run the current turbo like this?

from what i have been told..and you can (i would recomend it) call Ron's turbo on this question..but i dont think it can be rebuilt if there is in and out play...Ron has the complete rebuild kit as well.....
