Siren turbo
My truck make a faint siren sound above 7psi of boost. It gets 23 psi at full throttle, no more smoke or less smoke than usual, and same as usual EGTs.
When i heard it, I thought it was a loose boot. Under the turbo one orange boot was sucked in a little so I put it back on and the sound is still there.
I pulled the intake to check the shaft on the turbo and there is no play at all and the fins look good ( no dusting or chips).
Is there anything else it could be?
Also I used my 4wd the other day (by manually locking the hubs) and the passenger side won't disengage. It goes to the auto setting but the hub is still locked.
Any thoughts on that one?
