6.9 Stanadyne IP diagrams

Anyone have any, or know where I can buy them. I tore down a Bosch unit with limited internal parts diagram, and I would like to do the same for this truck. My advance pin is worn, and started leaking, so I bought a new one and an o-ring kit. I'll do it blind since its not the first IP I've done, but I am told that these are different. Any info would be nice. Thank you all in advance.

I found a page on a GM forum that includes free schematics. They are not free unless you sign up. Well, the injection pump is very similar to my Stanadyne so I purchased the subsrciption for 1 month $9.95 for 10 downloads a day for 1 month or 310 downloads- well worth the money for the diagrams that I got! Here is the sight http://www.tpub-products.com/archive/subscribers/ AND here is the page from the GM post with truly "FREE" diagrams that do not print all that well (for free anyway

http://www.tpub.com/content/automotiveenginemechanics/TM-9-2815-237-34/css/TM-9-2815-237-34_104.htm I hope this helps anyone.

David85-Thanks, no I did not. I am going to try and post the document I got yesterday. It is very similar to the pump that I have, and it really made a difference for me.

Just remembered annother favorite that I saved along time ago:

Oliver Diesel - Engines & Outdoors

It includes some theory of operation.

Great info David85, thanks. I'll keep the long nose Vise Grip pliers around, softly on the fuel line, when I try to start it.

I'd have a piece of steel plate that I could put across the inlet to the air filter. It might be hard on the air cleaner housing, but quicker than trying to pinch a fuel line.
